Here are 4 things to focus on to manage your mental bandwidth and maximize your results in all times:
Focus on discipline and structure.
- Determine the processes that will help you to be most productive. For example, checking your email only at specific times of the day. Or, time blocking important tasks. Take the time to create a personal agenda for your work and life.
Focus on being intentional and deliberate.
- Conduct an environmental scan. What feedback are you receiving from others? How are you progressing in relation to your timeline? What resources are needed now to reach your goals? Take an assessment and get it done.
Focus on planning and execution.
- Refrain from overthinking. Remember done is better than perfect. Actions gets results, not wishes.
Focus on being more flexible. Because of rampant disruptions, be quick to react and adapt to change.
Mind how you spend your time. When you focus on problems, you’ll have more problems. When you focus on possibilities, you’ll have more opportunities.
